It was the plan of forced farming which the Slave masters used to enslaved us, we ploughed up the soil and plant sugar cane and other kinds of produce, and we watered them and cared for them unwillingly, and reap them when thc crops became ripe, and the slave masters sold them and take the money for themselves, because they considered us to be slaves and their property. Then in 1833, when they establised the apprenticeship system of slave laws, they resisted us from having our own land to cultivate, because they said, that if we were allowed to cultivate our own land, then they would not be able to employ us for cheap labor, to continue to work their farms for them, since we would be having our own farms and be occupied in our own business.
So, they made many cruel laws against us having land and our own plantations. But what is stopping us from having our own plantations today, while we are struggling for Repatriation? We must find ways and means to feed our own people and to create employment for them. We can make our own money by working for ourselves among ourselves. Those are the kinds of thinking which we must have and work seriously to put them into action for our own survival. Take the best care of yourself and your people.
Again I send many oceans of blessings and self determination to African people everywhere.
ONE BLACK HEART ONE BLACK LOVE.
