"You've given me good info on the fellas. What about the females? Auset, Nephthys, Sekhmet, Ma'at herself, Mu, Nut, etc."
--What do you want to know about them?
"And if I may slip you a zinger, who is the "greatest" or "most important" of all the gods and goddesses? and why? be careful!"
--It is only recent history that has us thinking it is okay to put one of the Neteru (Gods) above any other one of them. This started with Ahkenaton and continued with the Athenians and Romans (Christianity). Traditionally speaking we see all Gods and Goddesses as deserving our respect and honor simply because they are divine and each one has his or her or its place in the existence. We are taught that one of the worst things we can to one Deity is try to place it above another Deity.
That said, I think you would want me to say that Aishat(Isis) is the most important Deity, but we traditionally don't have a "most important." The two "greatest" Gods are Ra and Atumu. Ra is considered to be great because everything is contained within him. Atumu is great because he is so small he is within everything.
