*****At the Earth Center we are taught that intentions don't matter, it is our actions/behaviors that matter, and not the reasons for those actions. *****
It sounds as if you were taught to be a zombie, in my opinion. We are emotional creatures. We have a combination of heart and mind. The union of those two is compassion.
There is no way you are going to tell me that YOU believe that the intent of the heart does not merit discernment from evil.
What if while running to save my neighbor from his burning house, I accidentally trip over his gas can that causes the fire to grow even faster and kill the neighbor. Are you saying that because the person was killed by my action, I am culpable of an evil act?
A man was killed by something I did or contributed towards.
*******we are taught that intentions don't matter, it is our actions/behaviors that matter, and not the reasons for those actions.*******
So although I intended to risk my life by saving my neighbor, the result was me killing my neighbor. That makes me an evil murderer, right?
Have you completed this workshop yet?
This is an April Fool's joke, right?
