Rastafari Speaks

Liberation is an obsolete pursuit

Who gives a damn about some stinking liberation?

What's that got to do with me paying my bills?

Can I plug liberation into my GPS and follow the directions there?

Does it increase my salary?

Does it make me feel good?

I got 4G speed
I got emails, texts, twit all on my smartphone.
I got 300 channels on my hi-def 1080p.
I got a good job that I support my family with.
I can go out to Red Lobster every once in a while.
My children are getting a good education.
I am not being persecuted by my religion (unless I was moslem).

Liberation?

Looks like we're doing alright being oppressed.

Besides, we wouldn't have a black president if we weren't already liberated.

Get with the times!
