If one cannot step out of their box among friends then those aren't friends to begin with. If people choose to substitute the real human, emotional connection, for superficial electronic relationships (social networking) and do not find it wanting, then maybe we're already witnessing a paradigm shift to a soul-less universe; and those of us who find it un-natural are obsolete.

Maybe the scientist who thinks we're in a computer simulation; some archetypal geek's virtual reality, is correct. I have no problem with becoming obsolete for I've grown tired of the game of simulating emotions for some overlord inflicted with Asperger's syndrome or any other human deficiency on the Autistic spectrum.
