I shared it because I think it demonstrates varying dimensions of a very interesting and important issue which I think will be useful to discuss for some time. I am still sorting out my understanding of it so perhaps as the discussion ensues I may have something clear to say or ask. I think the author gives a useful analysis/ demonstration that the reality of people's experience of race is not so much a matter of genetics but phenotype and that despite our pretensions, the attitudes which uphold white supremacy are alive and well.
