Vegetarianism and support for animal rights may not be "articles of faith" in Rastafari, but the movement lends itself to those sympathies through the Ital diet and its opposition to oppression in general. If it's wrong for one group of humans to oppress another group of humans, is it not also wrong for humans to oppress non-humans?
