Rastafari Speaks

Aother Nyabinghi Blues.

The Patriot Ras Iyarny Has Passed Away

Today is just another day
But there is so much which I have to say
Another Patriot make the move
To what we call Transition groove.

They finish their work and then they are gone
Whether it be evening, midnight or dawn
Most of them are full of age.
So they just go to another page.

But did you really hear the news
Another Nyabinghi blues
Bongo Tarny has finished his mission
So he made that great transition

He did the best that he could do
To help to carry the struggle through
He was in the Iniversity
Where we learn from our Adversities

He was with us in the mountains
He trod with us to the Rock Spring Fountain
He was indeed a Blackheart Man
Who worked with the Iverstanding plans

When black heart Chant hit Rennock Lodge
He did not run away and dodge
When Warieka Mountain was invaded
He did not melt away or faded

Indeed we were very Victorious
Then sweet Higges Knott became so glorious
This is just pieces of the History
No time tell the total story

So much more for us to learn
So much knowledge for us earn
He was a brother and a friend
So this is where this one will end
