Respects,If the word Jesus or God brings these bad things up in you then maybe you need to overstand what is connected to these things.
Igziabeher or Fetari are both Amharic words for God/creator,as Im sure you'll know,but one could get a negative feeling around these words if a slavemaster used them on you/around you.Slavemasters used god and christian religion to destroy the black populace internally/spiritually but they only USED it(no small thing though)....it is,however nothing to do with God or a man who said 'do unto others as you would have them do unto you'.
See they thought that if they give you something that SAYS god or is a human form CALLED Jesus,but distort the meanings so they have nothing to do with god or a riteous man of god that they could trick you and THIS,(as you would know)worked on brainwashing many people.Some say Rasta is like a devil thing.The word Rastafari dont make you riteous,HOW YOU LIVE DOES!The combination of the word and how you conduct yourself within its context creates the real power.
Then again if you dont like the word God or Jesus then anyone could overstand that, but its only because of what you have been shown about those words meanings that really could be leading you to this conclusion.
