This is true, but nowhere will you find HIM saying he was caucasian.When he was refering to the word "negro" in this context,he was not in the U.S at the time and probably did not even speak his words in English, hence the word "negro" would have been used for describing those Africans that are not a mix of semitic ect.Those black men of pure 'Africoid' genes.
So you see, Selassie did not lie.
If he was refering to not being black, but being a mixture then this is correct.I have read HIM say these things before.It is allways important to know what language Haile Selassie spoke in before it was translated by English speaking peoples, as certain words will be interpreted as in the language of the day.
