Whether or not these words were actually spoken by Selassie, his actions does give one pause, again we should let history be our guide. Faced with the threat of invasion, Egypt continually looked to the south for an ally until finally overrun with foreigners, the wars became one invader against the next while the original land owners moved south.

I submitted some of Chancellor Williams’s observations of the behavior of Semitic Africans within the post on Biafra. The same type of behavior is currently on exhibit in Darfur, from the Janjaweed. One must also be mindful of the fact that it was Semitic Abyssinia that dealt the final blow to Nile valley civilization.
