I don't know if it's such a general war between Oromo people in general and the Ras dem in Shashamane... have heard different tings on that from people who've lived/been there... one thing I will say is that, at the G20 demonstrations in London earlier this year, Amhara and Oromo protesters were united in expressing their outrage against Meles Zenawi. They were in two separate groups but they were circulating amongst one another and seemed friendly enough to one another and were certainly united against a common enemy.
