Just to add, I do think it's ridiculous that this is even a "controversy". It should be obvious to all and sundry that Bob Marley, as great as he is, is not the be all and end all of reggae music.
And also to mention, I *LOVE* Buju's latest "Too Bad", that's like the Buju I first got to know back in the day, but more lyrically mature... some real classics on that album... although I don't like the title song with it's references to "rape", although I'm 100% certain he doesn't mean it literally I still don't like it. But pretty much every other song on that album is terrific.
Now if I can only find the bastard who borrowed that from me and didn't return it, LOL
