Rastafari Speaks

Re: Definitions
In Response To: Definitions ()

Yes there is evil present in Africa. If there was not, then why bring forth the laws of Maat, or the Hamurabi code, or the 10 commandments?

If everyone is just and riteous, why even bother having laws and criminal courts?

InI know that Africa has evil elements. As we speak soldiers are raping their own women in the congo.

But here is the big difference between Africa, and the west.

When a person still have their culture fully intact, it is easier to get back to riteousness, and throw out the elements that seem to be causing the probelms.

America has destroyed InI culture, therefore if you were to get rid of the white man, what good would it do?

Most of us are white people with black faces, why because we have taken on the ideology of the beast, and replaced InI system of governing yourselves with his.

That is why Babylon is a physical place.

Look if Rastas are honest with themselves, you would admit, that the definition began to expand once whites entered the movement.

Ask yourself, Did Marcus Garvey ever consider Africa as Babylon?

Did Selassie I consider Africa as babylon?

The answer is no.

For instance, one's house may be dirty and in need of spring cleaning, but it is still your house.

Instead of being stolen from your home to serve, live and be persecuted in a home that is not yours.

But like you said, no two rastas will ever agree all the time.

Bless
