This is my last Rasponse on this thread (after I speak to Judah ofcourse), becuase I feel that I got all the information from this topic that I need.
However this current line of reasoning has nothing to do with the topic, but I will grace you with an answer, because you did take out the time to make the statement.
You are reasoning on exactly what? What is Babylon? As I said before, and NOBODY can say that I am wrong when I say this. I will repeat. The term Babylon in Rastafarians speech patterns, did not show up until post slavery. The elders of Rastafari ORIGINALY saw Babylon as a physical place. That being the western empires who enslaved InI. Now that is a fact. Whether or not you feel that I elders should have come up with another name is besides the point. The fact is that is the name that was ATTRIBUTED to the western empires. Perhaps you could reason with the Nyabinghi elders like Dermot fagen and tell them to come up with another name. Personally I am fine using that name.
The second fact, is that Rastafarians see ethiopia as zion. Now whether you want to debate if Ethiopia is zion is your business. However you can not call me a liar when I tell ya that I elders saw ethiopia as zion and call it zion.
Like I stated before, both are a physical places.
I find it funny how people quote prohecy, yet overlook the prophecy of Revelations 5:5
