Do you see it is a sound analogy to compare what the Somali situation with people selling drugs?

I doubt it very seriously that the Somalis are doing what they are doing to look cool and buy frivilous things. I can show you plenty of drug dealers who do. It is not about mere survival for many hustlers in the states.

The last time I checked, the Somalis were not hijacking and licking shots at their own people like drug dealers do to their communities.

I dont see the connection. I think you are trying to equate how someone may sell drugs for survival like the somali are "pirating" for survival.

If you could show me a Somali from a middle class Somali family who was pirating for the hell of it, then I might see your point.
