I was reading these words of Baba Ras Marcus and I found them to be somewhat applicable to your post.
"Weapons are not the only tools which we can use as resistance, self determination and endurance are also wonderful tools. When we are able as a people to have oneness of mind, and our enemies realize, that we have taken back the minds of our people, and that the tactics of divide and rule, will not work among us any more, then they will have to get out of our way and leave us alone. We have to be able to remove mental slavery from the minds of our people, and make them fearless like Mahatma Gandi, Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King and his followers, and so many other fearless people, who will use their minds and their mental faculties, to resist the enemies until they fade away. Now these are changing times, and none of us know what the future will bring to us, a situation could accur where anyone of us, may have to use self defence to stop the enemies, but I do not think that we should nourish our minds, with violent thoughts, as we live from day to day, what is ordained to be shall surely be, but in the meantime, let us nourish our mental faculties with self determination and endurance. The journey of life continues. Take the best care of yourself and your people.
Again I send many oceans of blessings and self determination to African people everywhere.
ONE BLACK HEART ONE BLACK LOVE "
Baba Ras Marcus.
