When a race of people are settled down for a nights rest, after carrying out a days task, and have plans to continues in their cultural and village activites on the following day, and suddenly in the deep of night, their villages are invaded, and their families captured and kidnapped away, to the slave plantations of other countries, which they have never known, and in the midst of being taken to these strange lands and people, this race of people are being brutalised with whips, and mouth openers, and thumb screws, having shackles on their hands and feet, being placed below deck where it is dark and stink, since they all have to mess up themselves right down there, and remain in it, until they are dragged up onto the deck, to get fresh air, and for the slave masters to check and see, how many of them are dead, so, they can calculate how much profit they may make, from this set of human merchandise, when the journey is final ended, that is not any easy manifestation to forget, not even the slave masters themselves can forget this manifestation easily. True Rastafari people will not and will never forget, these criminal acts which were committed against African people everywhere, you can try to soften the agitation of African people as much as you like, but you will never succeed, because true African liberators will continue to agitate for Africa for the Africans those at home and those abroad.
So, when our people were kidnapped away, very close families were deliberately separated, and sold away from one another, so that they were not able to see each other again in their life time, and their languages were whip out of them, in order to prevent them from communicating with each other, when they are talking the Europeans expected them to talk in European languages, so, that they could hear everything which they were saying to each other.
Now you are trying to indoctrinate our people with religion and your beliefs, and is calling it culture, when our true African culture were beaten out of us by the Europeon slave masters. Now, I want you to listen again to what I have been saying and will continue to say from day to day, I am an African person and it is my responsiblity, to stand up for the rights of African people, and there is nothing that you can say to prevent me from doing just that. We as Rastafari people, must, and have taken the baton from Marcus Garvey, and we will continue the struggle for Africa for Africans, those at home and those abroad. The journey of life continues. Take the best care of yourself and your people.
Again I send many oceans of blessings and self determination to African people everywhere.
ONE BLACK HEART ONE BLACK LOVE.
Baba Ras Marcus.
