People often get confused between information and knowledge. Having access to large amounts of information, having read many books, or even conversed with many so-called elders often fills ones with the false impression that they have ‘knowledge’. As a result of this false impression they often miss great opportunities to have life altering real EXPERIENCES and become truly knowledgeable. It is in this gap between information and knowledge that arrogance lives and humility is absent.
These definitions were brought to my attention and I thought I should post them. Maybe in reading them others will get an idea of where they stand in the spectrum.
