Who was really trashing the Bobos? Maybe I missed something. I recall debates about Emmanuel's status in the movemant, and about whether or not HIM really did pay a personal visit to Bobo Hill as claimed by the Bobo Shanti, and about the status of woman in the EABIC and about whether Idi Amin was a freedom fighter or a psychotic murderer. But all of these things are perfectly valid debating points and do not equal an all out attack on the Bobo Shanti.
Also there have been some Bobo posters on this board who have implied or directly stated that the EABIC is the only true house of Rastafari, or the highest priestly order above all the other houses and independent Rastas, it is understandable that Rastas who are not Bobo would want to refute those statements, just as it's understandable when Bobo Shanti respond negatively to people who say they are not 'real Rastas.'
Anyway I have not noticed any huge amount of Bobo-bashing on this board, perhaps I missed some threads. Which ones are you referring to?
