"Capitalism generally refers to an economic system in which the means of production are mostly privately[1] owned and operated for profit, and in which investments, distribution, income, production and pricing of goods and services are determined through the operation of a free market."
this definition plainly states why capitalism is not equitable and just. "privately owned" and "operated for a profit", a profit for the private owner. there is NO consideration for the health and wellfare of society, there is no self determination for people who cannot afford to own their own business. it is a system where to succeed you must exploit others weaknesses for your own personal gain. that to me does not sound like an equitable and just system. oh and the "free" market part. can you define what they mean by "free" market in reference to the way capitalism operates in the real world? what is so "free" about it? the "market" may be free and available to ones with the "capital" to exploit, but the poor living in such systems are anything but free. the "market" is where the emphasis on freedom is, not the people. Capitalism's priorities are making money point blank.

the ability to trade goods, services, etc...are not exclusive to Capitalism so therefore we cannot imply them as it's "virtues". also, within a capitalist system corporations are given the attributes of a person. however, corporations have no moral compass or conciousness, they are designed to bring the highest profit margin to their stockholders. take for example the coporations usurpment and usage of the 14th amendment to the american constitution. originally passed to give equal rights to black people. it said that no State could deny any person the right to life, liberty, or property. so the Capitalist corporations claimed they were a "person". through the use of "legal" capitalism corporations took what was supposed to be an amendment to protect the rights of then newly freed slaves, and exploited it for their own benefit and gain. by 1910 there were 300 cases brought in on the basis of the 14th amendment, 288 by corporations and only 19 by africans. That is the modus operandi of Capitalism.
it was the Capitalist system which lead to the slave trade, and the Capitalist system that keeps it strong even until this day. there is no such thing as Capitalism without exploitation. even the basic definitions of the words, Capitalism, Capitalize, Capitalist and Capital all illustrate quite plainly the selfish, unequal and exploitative methods and intentions of this oppressive and contradictory system.
