The State Of The African Union.

The problem which we are having as African people everywhere, is that we have been mistreated and been downpressed, by greedy and wicked white people, for more than five hundred years of slave trading activities, then those black politicians with their Phds, put themselves in leadership positions, only to continue the same kind of
outragious and greedy behavior against their own people. They call themselves heads of State, which put them in a position to be in control of the Wealth and Natural resouces of the land of Mama Africa, but instead of using the wealth which is acquired, from the sale and royalties, of the various Natural resources of Mama Africa, to make life better for the African Masses, they have become greedy, and spend the people's money among their selves, their families, and their friends, and leave the Masses of African people, in abject poverty, in addition to being plagued by various dis-ease, with no healing Institutions to offer healing services to infants, mothers, fathers and African families in general. What then is the true purpose of the African Union, which is being talked about so much, and is so often in the news? The poem which I post below, will express the way I feel about the whole situation.

The State of the African Union is very much in the News
African People are sharing their serious and various views.
The Union is composed of Africa’s Heads of States
But the masses of African people have no food inside their plates.The members of the African Union are affluent indeed
But they have not planted any real Liberation seeds
They are Eloquent speakers if you put them to the test
But in practical actions they have fail to do their very bestFor how on Mother Earth can they be living in Luxury
While the Masses of African people are living in poverty
And where is the place for the African Diaspora????
In your plans and debate for the United States Of AfricaSome members of the African Union have very bad behavior
Brutalizing African people instead of being their savior
Heads of States are supposed to be the servants of the people
Instead greed and ambition have become their famous vehicleHow can there be real African Unity?
When you are down pressing the masses of your African community
What has become of the people’s money?
Where is their juice and where is their honeyLook at the rich life you Heads of State live
While the roofs of the masses are leaking like a sieve
You members of the Union must make some corrections
In order to achieve African’s unificationDeep concern for the African masses must be cultivated
Their living standard must be elevated
Food clothing and shelter must be provided
Social and cultural deprivations must be correctedAbolish those affluent social classes
Then serve and uplift the African masses
Remove those out of order leaders
Replace them with some conscious teachersSince African Unity will not come from the top
You will find it sitting in the masses lap
There is much which you can learn from the people in the streets
Their hard lives have given them some wisdom so sweetThink about the Aids, Malaria and those various kinds of fevers
Which cause our people to tremble or quiver
Where are the healing centers?
For these very sick people to enterOrphans are already so multiplied
When will your corrective measures be applied?
No more dodging around the bush
Give this cause your full Liberation Push.And they who sell out to the Colonial masters
They are only prolonging African disasters
We must agitate for Reparation
Compensation and RepatriationWe must work for true African Liberation
We must work for true African Restoration
We must work seriously to open those gates
So that Africans in the Diaspora can RepatriateAnother Baba Ras Marcus Meditation and Creation.
