Many thanks for this information. I am struck by the fact that the King was there at the foundation of the African nationlist movement.
Could it be that the reason he was pushed in to obscurity was that he was not as crafty as the other two? Nkrumah and Kenyatta strike me as people that worked with the system until they thought they were strong enough to show it the finger.
