you touched on a good point. the battle is also for identity, to identify with a symbol and the legacy which that symbol represents.
Judaism has been hijacked by white supremacists with the intent and motive of the European imperialists. Jews in other parts of the world don't act like this, but the thrust of the whole of their identity on the worldstage has been coopted by these forces.
They even took the Ethiopian Jews to their imperialistic state to keep them "in the fold" and under the jurisdiction of this Euro-dominated creation.
So yeah, I see the point in it being important to emphasize that all that these Zionists claim to be Judaism is not so.
