That is a good article KaribKween. I'm not qualified to know all about the left brain and the right brain (because I have not yet taken the time to fully study the subject and become "intelligent" in it), but I agree with what the article says. Ain' no such thing as people who born stupid. Even people with Down's Syndrome or whatever could probably do tings we (non Down's Syndrome people) don't even know about.
My cousin Mikey Dread who never had no razor pon e ead since e born, was diagnosed with some "learning disabilities" and this and that and the other, and was getting very frustrated and aggressive, cozza what he been going through in school. From he switch from "they schools" to a school run by a good brudda name Richard Greene, is like a 360 change. Cos Mikey is the most warm, loving youth, and he is a lion; all the abuse and disrespect he get in dem public schools from teachers and students is wah mek the lion in e get vex and waan maul you. The ting in the article bout people shutting down into fight-or-flight mode when they feel threatened is true.

PS the article notes how these techniques that were proven to help so call "problem" children, were sealed off as available only to the wealthy.
