Are Vincent and Joel Chin, Chris Blackwell or Fatis Burrell really about the "message" as opposed to the "money"?
Not saying they might not be, I haven't met or reasoned with any of em, nor with Damon Dash or Sizzla Kalonji either.
I love nuff of Sizzla music though, and if he comes with some more "Real Ting"s and lets "Jah Know Best" about what NOT to put out (it hurts me to say it, but that white jew Robert Zimmerman has a better version of "Subterranean Homesick Blues" than Sizzla's on that one album that he shoulda just recalled)... and if linking up with Damon Dash or whoever is a vee-hickle to do that... then whatever... play yuh game... they already ban Sizzla from play in inglan supposedly cos of the "homophobia" business, but if you check it even when OUTRAGE and dem was complaining to whatever-de-blind-bannah-name... David Blunkett, Home Office honcho... he still wasn't gonna sign the order banning Sizzla from entering the UK, until somebody bring up Sizzla supposed statement he was quoted as having said at some concert in JA about "bun white people", apparently this frightened David Blunkett, after all he is blind and if someone wanted to set him on fire because he is white, he wouldn't know what the hell to do or where to run, so it's understandable really. (*sarcasm alert*)
Anyway if Sizzla ever come with some lyrics like "Any Time Now" again, and that becomes the #1 hit eclipsing 50 cent etc, then that would be nice.
Am I dreaming selassielive?
