Replace the above sentence with: "As long as people in power have the power to not deal with the African [and all downpressed nations of people] anywhere in the world, they will use it."
I am just as "African" and just as "American" as you. My ancestors who were kidnapped and subject to living crucifixion so that europe could satisfy their suddenly-acquired sweet tooth, simply happened to have been taken to "South America" as opposed to "North America" (Turtle Island).
