Revelation of Rastafari and the bible

Greetings
Some Rastafari honor and raspect the bible as the word of God and a source of guidance and inspiration. This is partly due to the fact that Qedamawi Haile Selassie endorsed the bible.

Some see the bible as being corrupted and re-word it to fit in with their perception of truth.

Some see the bible as corrupted and reject it all together because he/she does not want to drink from dirty waters. They tend to adhere to teachings which predate the bible and were sources of inspiration to the writers of the bible and the people of the land.

Many site the bible because they feel its revelation revealed Qedamawi Haile Selassie in all His glory.

From how I overstand though, in the early times of Rastafari, the coming of Qedamawi Haile Selassie was predicted by Marcus Garvey. This was before the biblical revelation was revealed to Idrens. I may be wrong. Maybe Baba Marcus can enlighten InI on that.

Anway, I want to ask Idrens if the revelation of Rastafari is strictly from a biblical perspective or no?

If so, then would there be Rastafari without the bible?

Would ones know of Qedamawi Haile Selassie?

Or is the Irator bound to what is written in the book?

If not, then what is the true revelation of Rastafari?
