He/She/Ma'at judges those intentions (your heart) against the weight of a feather...if your heart is "light as a feather" you move on (Ausar/heaven)...if your heart is heavy, you are "devoured" (Ammut/hell)
I think we get into trouble with trying to seek what is "good"...but good is subjective and perceptive...but MA'at is balance...and you may ask balance of what?...BALANCE OF EVERYTHING...BALANCE OF ANYTHING.
Good may be "considered" good one way and bad another...good for one and evil for another.
BUT...
Ma'at IS balance...which is "good" for ALL:In other words, let balance determine what is a good intention...NOT good intentions determining what is balanced.
BALANCE ALL OF THESE:
body soul spirit
wombman man child
animals(humans) and vegetables
Creator Ancestors Elders Self DescendantsThe LONGEST day in South America is December 21
The SHORTEST day in North America is December 21
The SHORTEST day in South America is July 21
The LONGEST day in North America is July 21
But BOTH have the same DAY and NIGHT on the EQUINOX (March 21 and Spetember 21)The perspectives are different on those other days but The Equinox (EQUI=equal NOX=nights)(balance) reveals the truth for ALL.
The examples Selassielive gave shows us that there is no "you and I"
That is why there was a teaching that went "do unto others as you would do unto yourself"
In the meta-physical you, I, and others are the SAME.Ras Heru spoke about Good and Balance as the same thing IN THE BEGINNING...but enemies have since separated good and balance...balance is NEVER subjective.
Seshatasefekht once replied about Egypt vs. Ethiopia that the only division is between christianjudeoislaminsanity and Ma'at.
And Rasdavid has said "how are we one people when one person starves and another eats he fill". So one may say "life is good" and the other say "life is bad"
GOOD or BAD...the TRUTH is life is "OUT of BALANCE"GOOD is a perception based on a perspective
BALANCE just "IS" Just-is (justice)
I "AM" WHO "AM"...GOD "IS"Plug in any example you had: torture, child molestation, etc, etc, and apply Ma'at...there is no doubt what it "IS".
