you can call him what you want-you have free will; just as you see it as appropriate to call someone a derrogarory term based off of one statement he made, that may or may have not have been out of context, is your call to make alone; as i see it you are a bit judgemental and immature, in your assessment of the man. if you said his staemnt was not appropriate or unwise then you may in my opinion be giving the man the benefit of the doubt. i am not sure, but i would guess that mr freeman employs many a black folk in his restaurant and nighclubs in misssippi, done much advocating for katrina victims and spending his own money to do as much; charity does begin at home, right? mr frreman is quite generous in his support of hbcu's african/american causes as well as african works-do i think he is the the poster man for african consciousness, no.
but his positive works, i would guess outweighs the words of one interview.
