In Response To: water is spirit (seshatasefekht)
This discussion is awesome!!!
There are too many distractions for me to fully absorb that. I will try.
I really like the vibes and insight of this topic
This, to me is one of those requiring fasting. This is why I am here on these boards...the esoterics, the spiritual, the divine...
Water never extinguishes water...
Fire never extinguishes water...
Water is spirit, spirit is over flesh, there is no lifespan of water.
Fire is flesh (it consumes fuel, give off heat and WILL die)
Deep down, fire is but a parasite. (right?) Flesh is but a parasite of mind and spirit.
So, "fire defeating fire" and "water defeating fire", to me, shows that we can be destroyed by ourselves or externally.
I think it is fair to premise that this is representative of humanity and human netjer.
Life is conceived in water, (through the fire of passion)
Birth is from out of water (through the burning fire (pains) of labor)
Fire burns up to the Air and leaves cinders/ashes. It is the action of water which re-unites it with Earth.
It is the action of Fire (Earth's core) which shapes mountains.
It is Water that gives life...fire affirms life.
Thank you for the clarity
Would you agree that air and earth need to be included in this discussion for complete overstanding?
Please elaborate more if you may.
peace and hotep to you.
Thanks for the brain food.
