HonourLast I heard, there are over 5 million dead in the DRC from the war presently going on. I will not insult you by saying I feel your pain, no one, except those going through something similar, can know how you feel when you contemplate the things that are happenning.
What I feel though is anger. I feel it when I see the rare pictures on TV or in newspapers. I also feel it when I see Congolese, liberians, ivoriens, nigerians and others here in the waste, often at the bottom of the pile. I know that most of them would not be here, getting disrespected (by creatures not fit to be shit on), if thier homelands had'nt been devastated by insanity. Our home has been turned into hell so 'whites' can live the 'good life'.
So, the attitude of the waste regarding the holocoast in the DRC is understandable. Chaos in the market-place is what vultures constantly pray for. Therefore no, they will do nothing to stop it. In fact, they will do thier best to keep it as quiet as possible. "Let more millions die in silence if they have to." As long as kagame and the other blind stooges keep the coltan flowing in the right direction.
If this kagame had ever acted against thier interests, with the amount of people he has killed, his picture would have been on TV sets every night. He would be denounced daily by the talking assholes of the crack(white) house as the world's biggest monster. You would be hearing about UN resolutions.
Now, the joke is that this paul kagame, an ethnic supremacist, is the same one who has been asked to supply troops for the AU on thier so-called monitoring mission in Darfur. I suppose the idea is to send a thief to catch a thief. Darfur, of course, is floating on top of oil.
So, it is plain to see where the interests of waste lie. We must never expect anything from them.
You said nobody cares about what is happening in the DRC, yes, it looks like that because news rarely comes out of there and, when it does, it is usually distorted. Which is why, it is of the greatest urgency that genuine outlets are established for comprehensive news and FRANK views regarding the things that are affecting Africans.
