* well something MUST be missing if the world is in the state it is in after 2000+ years of Christian thinking! studying the ancient livity and history and cultures is an attempt to try to see where things went wrong from one step to the next as Judeo-Christianity is a derivitive of the ancient past. We tend to see things here in the West as linear and "evolving" - where things today are an evolution of what was before. The reality though is that reality does not operate like that and the ancient people had quite a different conception. What is apparant to me is that Judeo-Christianity was not an EVOLUTION, but a DE-EVOLUTION of the ancient that has led to immense follies.
