On a previous post, I said : 'One person that I give a bit of paper to may see a thing you wrote and from that, this person may come to this site, see more, think, reason, grow. Another, who may not be able to access the internet as often as he/she wishes may keep that bit of paper,'

'This site' from that extract was refering to Rasta Speaks, not some proposed rival site. The matter of a logo was something to identify the magazine as an entity, and to represent it's purpose. No more, no less. There was nothing in this proposal about setting up a web-site to 'do better' than Rasta Speaks. On the contrary, this is about two things: First, to bring out printed material that will focus exclusively on one aspect of the conversation taking place on this board. And, second, to bring more people of a like mind to this site.

What you are implying would be the acts of one with a strictly personal agenda and an ego to match. Beyond speaking of my nationality, I have never said anything else about myself in any of my posts. I have never said where I am, what I am and what I do. This is deliberate because according to the tradition I follow, the things we do should stand by themselves.

If the intent had been to promote another web-site, then that is what would have been done. Like you said, this site already has links with others. I have seen other people put links to thier posts that lead on to thier sites. If you think that the whole intention behind this proposal was to set up a rival site by stealth then you are mistaken.

But, I can see how easy it will have been to come to this misunderstanding. Like you said, this could have done a better way and I apologise for any disrespect that has come across.

Wisdom and Strength.
