Your statement was: "This situation in Zimbabwe is a disaster, a tragedy. But this is what happens when Gerontocrats continue."

That statement speaks of a pattern and a generalization. You were not just airing your feelings about Mugabe. You were making a general statement about old people in leadership positions.

More and more I am getting the feeling that you are making these statements but really do not know what you are saying.

You said: "He has been around for so long, and has nothing to show for it. In fact, he is now undoing all his accomplishments. This is why I have a problem with him."

The idea of returning lands to blacks seems to be nothing in your view but to many of us Diasporan Africans and even Black Africans on the continent, sending the strong message that we are not going to casually tolerate the unfair land situation was a very progressive step Mugabe made.

On the other thread you mentioned you objected to someone calling you a mulatto (not a nice word). How would an observer describe your racial color? Are you dark-skinned black, light skinned, white, near white what?
