In Response To: Re: Seeking to understand Zimbabwe (Ayinde)

Like I said on another thread:
I think it is equally disgusting that Mugabe is using food as a political weapon to get people to vote for him, and that Tsvangarai et al are willing to collaborate with the thieves and murderers AKA big white landowners to get Mugabe out.
Based on what I can gather from a distance it seems to me that both sides of the political equation are morally bankrupt at this point.
Ayinde, if you have info that can show that the charges of people being denied food if they do not have a ZANU card have no basis in fact and are pure propaganda concocted by the west, post that info on here. If you have info that the news I heard about Mugabe constructing a multi-million dollar palace for himself is more false propaganda, post that info on here. And Masimba, if you have info to indicate that Tsvangarai and co. will not sell out Zimbabwe to the western powers and the white farmers as soon as he gets into power, if he ever does, post that info on here.
Good looking out on the info about the US and the "starvation" grain photos by the way Ayinde. I hadn't heard that (surprise, surprise). Could you provide a link to more info about that (sorry if you already did in the text of your post, I just scanned it and am replying from memory). That's a typical tactic that babylon would use. However it does not mean that Zimbabwe might not be facing an IMMINENT food crisis because Mugabe et al planned and executed the VERY GOOD NECESSARY AND LONG OVERDUE idea of taking back the land, but IN THE WRONG WAY. What good is land if you don't have tools and machinery to work it? And is there no political cronyism in the pattern of who the land is being distributed to?
Ayinde please correct me and show me the info if you think I am wrong about any of the suppositions above.
What grassroots movements if any exist in Zimabwe besides ZANU and MDC? what about trade unions, or are they all aligned with MDC?
