I agree with Ras Marcus and Sellassielive. Self determination must be left to the people who are best qualified to run there own affairs as they see fit for themselves. There is no place for those who do not have the insight nor experience to properly understand the relevent issues at hand...and at best can only offer second hand opinions based on interpretations from a rightful one within the movement.

No matter which way you slice it...a white one simply does NOT and never will have the proper insight to legitimately challenge the issues from their own cultural perspective WITHIN the structure of a Black based movement intended for the upliftment of Black people. A white one must always prove their sincerity.. and only ends up diluting the issues to accomodate their own insecurities.

It's not as if whites cannot engage in meaningful and conscious relationships with Africans. In fact there certainly is much to learn from such an exchange. It's about recognizing the importance of rightful order. And it is here where I believe Ras Marcus and Sellasielive hit the nail square on the head.
