That question was asked: What does it mean to call oneself a "Ras" and no consensus was reached . . .
Now the question is, what does it mean to call oneself a "hard core" Ras? LOL!.....
It should be clear, that there are at least two "camps": Those who prioritize and emphasize African Liberation, and those who prioritize and emphasize "One Love" and members of a "New Race" . . .
HONESTY, however, requires one to admit that the roots of Rastafari began in the former. Therefore, since someone else used the term "Hard Core Rasta", I am asking ones to defer to the roots and define "Hard Core" Rastas, at least for the sake of this discussion, as the former, emphasizing and prioritizing African Liberation.
No one should have a problem with this unless one wants to deprive the roots of Rastafari from their pride of place, seen?
Now, to the question: Why don't the Rasses who prioritize and emphasize African liberation form collectives?
lack of vision
lack of organizing ability
I don't know. But there are plenty of people on this board saying that the Creator lives within I&I and that I&I have God-power so I&I ought to be able to do anything, right? So, perhaps, it is simply, just a lack of will . . . ?
Same thing with the question of so called "hard-Core Rasta" dating white women: a lack of will, fidelity, Holy Commitment to African Liberation.
