Greetings Idren
Much knowledge has been lost because of people stealing and destroying this knowledge. Also, the current state of the earth could hinder the effectiveness of this science. Because it is all based on magnetic fields. I am not a scientist but it is said that the poles are constantly shifting throughout time, which I think would have an effect on the earth's magnetic field. But I really dont know.

Also it is said that the ark of the covenant is a large capacitor, able to store large amounts of energy and releasing it. Maybe that is why the Philistine god Dagon was found next to the arc crumbled to the ground in the OT. People may have seen it and attributed it to an act of Jah.
