I&I need to rediscover I&I ancient science, and that means going beyond just being satisfied with the ankh as symbol. I think that was the point of the book, to get us a little closer to applying the science, no true?"
True, that was the point of the book.
But IMO since we have alternative means of electricity... the Ankh being a symbol for liberation is more important and trumps it's electrical usage in order of importance.
It will be nice to rediscover the scientific usage(of which the Kemetic paractitioners that I am aware of have not rediscovered)...But IMO it would be more logical to focus our energies on how it(and all other things to do with spirituality, culture, ect) leads to and assist with our liberation. If one could site how it's electromagnetic usage could assist with our liberation then I would be all for putting our collective energies into finding out how it fuctioned as such... But honestly, because of the global circumstances we are in, those energies can be put to better use. But of course this is just my opinion.
One of the 'beefs' I had with the local branch of the Kemetic spiritual practitioners(that I studied with for quite a while) is that they somehow thought that you can meditate a revolution.
When I would invite them to organize for, and participate in protests, demonstrations, soup kitchens and other volunteer work, ect. They would turn me down. Yet they would spend hours trying to discover how the Ankh worked in an electromagnetic fashion. Similar things have happened with other spiritual groups I have studied/practiced with.
If the spiritualism doesn't fuel our liberation it is useless and just mental masturbation IMO.
