masimba musodza, i recently asked one associate from ghana about substance abuse in his family. he replied emphatically that such behavior was not known of in his community/family. he stated, "my people are not crazy".

i can not reference any african in amorica withe such claims. my brother kwame shows through his exaggerated claim of community sobriety his strong sense of pride and i can not fault him for that. he misses his home so why concentrate on the negative.

kwame also states that, "I am from Ghana, and whites are definitely not in control there. Just a small Black clique of desperate, maniacal gerontocrats." what he fails to overstand is that those old minds, generally, have been colonized as well.

masimba musodza, when you say that the article 'dwelling too much on ephemeral to be considered relevant', which article? do you mean selassielive's article or mr wright's?

i must say that bobby wright was not seeking gospel truths. he was seeking solutions to our problem which are not short lived and the signifigance of his essays will live on longer than most. the truth of what he states will live on another twenty years. even as fanon's "wretched of the earth" lives.

proclaimations of emancipations are pointless. free your mind and your ass will follow.
