Well you are right it surely is a cry for help. But the help for whites won't come from attempting to renounce their whiteness.
I say 'attempting' because it is just not possible. Since the privilege is granted solely on the basis of skin tone, unless we dye our skin black we cannot give it away. (Chiekh Anta Diop)The only help for whites is to acknowledge the privilege, keep constant tabs on the arrogance, and scope out the history as you yourself clearly have. Why should it be any easier for whites?
