In Response To: Re: Tourism Leads Job-Creation Charge (Fyahman)

Greetings,

seen.

The reason most people go to visit different placesis to experience a different culture and way of life. The trouble with a lot of tourism is that it tends to go for an approach of making everything the same everywhere. Same hotels, same food, and yes, the same beggars, thieves etc. Smart tourism would realise that by retaining and protecting local cultural values you actually make a place more attractive as a destination, and stand to benefit more.

love and life
