In my language, ChiShona, God has no gender. In fact, outside of the Christian and Rastafarian concept, God is not a person but is God. The word we use is MWARI the root word being "Ari" meaning "is". In fact, at least in my part of Africa, the concept of God is similar to that of Judaism.
So where doe this feminine goddess stuff come from?
