Give thanks for the info. Beginning to get the picture that brutal patriarchy was a creation from outside of Africa - perhaps due to harsh conditions in harsh climates.
Must we read this brutal patriarchy into the bible in order to use it? Or can we see that the origin of the biblical stories, ideas, etc is in Africa with people who had nothing to do with the later barbaric patriarchal culture that co-opted and revised the original?
