I assure you, the last thing I want to do is to further western interests. If you must know, Mugabe is a product of Western interests. It was felt during the liberation struggle that he was someone they could talk to as opposed to more hardline nationalists. The same thing has happened elsewhere in Africa.
I guess this is why Mugabe is so anti-West. Like Saddam, he knows how they propped him up and are now ready to dump him.
