In Response To: A New Faculty of Interpretation (Ayinde)

Mutabaruka is really helping to sound the great and needed alarm for social and cultural reform, which is very much needed in the Rastafari Movemant. There is just too much celebrations going on. Some of these days which are being used for celebrations, should be used to create social and economic net works, in order to help to correct the degrading living condition among African people everywhere. Black owned Radio Stations ALL OVER THE WORLD Should use the 23rd of July which is (HIM) BIRTHDAY, AS a international day for fund raising, in order to bring clean water and other basic necessities, in the villages and homes of African people, in Mama Africa as well as the African Diaspora.
There are are lands and properties to be acquired in order to created social reforms among African people everywhere. We can do it a little at a time, each year we decide which of these problem is the priority to be approached. This may sound difficult but it is quite possible, all we have to do is to reason about it and then make some practical move to let it be manifested. One black radio Station or more can make that start, and as the years go by it will grow if we just continue to nourish and water it properly, with honesty and accountability.
We are always having seven days of nyaabinghi chanting drumming and dancing. How about seven days of computer learning and other skills from time to time, so that our people can be equuipt with practical skills ans knowledge, in order to move the African race forward everywhere.
There are more than 400, 000, 000, of us as African people in this world. We can work to put our race in a better standard of living everywhere. Uplift our race it must be done.
Again I send many oceans of blessings.
ONE BLACK AFRICAN LOVE ONE BLACK AFRICAN HEART.
Ras Marcus.
