Greetings Ras Marcus,

Many thanks for your continuing encouragement and wisdom.
Some have eyes that will not, and ears that will not hear.
But life has its entrances and its exits as you say and it goes on meanwhile.
A new year what does that mean to the ebb and flow of life?
A new season, one for planting and now for harvest. And some things are greatly changed but some things remain the same in their own way...
I sit on my front veranda every morning facing the east looking out to sea.
The water is covered with a trillion of diamonds moving as the tide comes in.. I say i am so rich. Then a small flock of green parrots flies noisily over my head looking for their morning feed. The leaves shining too as the reflect the sunlight.No wind today. No vehicle traffic,yet.
These are things that have been happening for thousands of years and I know I am doing the same thing my people did then too, although I have a comfortable chair to sit in. They would have sat on a rock warmed by the first rays of the morning sun which I have a choice to do,too.
Despite all the manmade horror this land around me has born witness to there is peace in the dawning of the new day and the cycle continues.
