Before I answer your question, I would like to inform you and the entire African Family, that Bongo Rocky was again rushed to the hospital in a ambulance on November 13.08 for medical treatment. He is suffering from stiffness in his legs and general discomfort and is in need of therapy by medical experts. As soon as I get further updates I will post them for this African famuily.

Hernia is generally caused by over lifting of loads, straining yourself in the lifting of any thing, or staining yourself in one way or another. It is not true to teach any one, that fasting causes Hernia, this is so very far from the truth and can be misleading to some one who is causing more Hernias to themself by over lifting or staining themselves. A person should only lift what they can manage in a reasonable way, and do not try to lift more than you can bear.

The dictionary describes Hernia as a: Protruding
of a bodily part(as a loop of intestine) into a pouch of the weakened wall of a cavity in which it is normally enclosed. Also the protuding mass.

The simpliest way to explain this to you, is to think about your bike is punctured, and you are patching it, but after patching it and trying putting back the tube inside the tire, the tube got clinched between the tire and rim of your bike wheel. So that little part of the tube, can be seen outside, while the rest of the tube is inside, so if that is not corrected and repaired, and you try to ride that bike with that clinched tube, you won't really get far, before you have another flat tire.

When one has Hernia and do not pay any attention to it, one day it will pay attention to you and you will be forced to go to the emergency room, because of great pains which will come upon you. Every person is different, and so, it depends on how you care your structure in order to be able to face medical emergencies and survive. When I went to have my surgery, I had already taken a Catscan, which is a kind of exray, which shows what kind of condition my organs were in, and except for the enlargement of my prostate, everything else was in order from a healthy point of view.

I had the surgery and removed three Hernias on the 7th of October starting at 8am and by 11am or there about, I was on my way home on that same day. It is as a result of the enlarment of my prostate, why I had to wear a Catherer, in order to pass out urine, and also pay three visits to the emergency room. But now that my prostate has been reduced by the way of Laser Surgery, I am now urinating freely since Friday the 14th of November. It was really a challenge for me, but I had to face my challenge. I can imagine that there maybe a large number of Iyathren and Sistren within the Rastafari movemant, who may be suffering from various kinds of ailment, but refuse to go to the medical people for assistant.

Well, this is how I see it, each person who was born upon this earth was born for a purpose, and they will never know what is their true purpose is until they grow up, and is ordered by the great internal teacher to go ahead and do a given task. When a person goes to the hospital for treatment, the powers of this great Universe will direct that treatment and decides whether a person will be healed or not, because every single thing which is being uased in that hospital comes from Mother earth, including the Doctors and Nurses and Technicians, and Clerks and Porters and Janitors and every single person who works in the hospital and causes it to function on a daily basis. Each of them have to depend on the Creator for fresh air, food and water to help them to function throughtout each day. So, if you are feeling sick and needs medical attention, just go for it, knowing that it is the powersof this great Universe, which causes people to be healed from any affliction.
