Believe it it not--- THE CONGOLESE HAD A GREAT MONARCY BETWEEN THE 1000 AD TO THE 1600'S AD. About the 1400's, the Chinese General Cheng Ho visited the Congo Kingdom. The Congolese created many masks and carvings of the Chinese face that they saw of Chinese sailors on these 1400's Chinese ships that landed in Congo.
